1. Who we are

Crazy Clips is a video automation platform that helps gaming content creators generate and upload short-form clips to their TikTok accounts. Contact: 7nickyeet7z@gmail.com

2. Information we collect

• TikTok authorization tokens (access token, refresh token, open ID, expiry) — stored locally on the creator's machine only.
• Basic profile info (open ID, display name, avatar) — obtained via user.info.basic to confirm the authenticated account.
• Extended profile info (bio, verified status, profile link) — obtained via user.info.profile to display in the creator's dashboard.
• Account statistics (follower count, following count, total likes, video count) — obtained via user.info.stats to display in the creator's dashboard.
• Publish status identifiers (publish_id) — returned by the Content Posting API and used to track the status of an upload.
• Local processing files — clips, subtitles, captions, and logs created during video processing.

3. How we use information

• To authenticate with TikTok on behalf of the creator via OAuth.
• To display the creator's own profile details and account statistics back to them in the dashboard.
• To send clips to the creator's own TikTok account — as drafts via video.upload, or as direct posts via video.publish, according to the mode the creator selects.
• To maintain a local processing log and avoid re-processing completed work.

4. Data sharing

Crazy Clips does not sell or share personal information with any third parties, and does not store data on external servers. Uploaded media is transmitted only to TikTok, solely to place the clip into the creator's own account.

5. Storage and security

All tokens and logs are stored locally on the creator's device. The creator is responsible for device security and access control. No data is stored on external servers by Crazy Clips.

6. Data retention

Processed videos and logs remain on the creator's device until archived or deleted by the creator. Authorization tokens are stored until the creator revokes access or deletes the local configuration.

7. Your rights

Creators can revoke Crazy Clips' access to their TikTok account at any time via TikTok's app settings under "Manage app permissions".
